To move from GloriaFood to CommandeIci, rebuild your menu, check its options and try a complete order before replacing your links. This guide covers pickup orders paid at the business. Rebuild from your menu using photos, a PDF or manual entry, followed by review.
This is a proposed preparation method. It is not an account of an already completed customer migration or a promise of automatic data transfer. If you are still choosing a tool, start with CommandeIci as a GloriaFood alternative.
1. List what GloriaFood does for your business
Write down the tasks you use during service: menu viewing, pickup orders, delivery, online payment, reservations, printing or till connections. Mark what your team needs to keep.
CommandeIci lets you publish your menu, share your establishment link or QR code and receive orders in your dashboard. Customers pay the business. If online payment, a delivery fleet or a till connection is essential, assess that separately: those requirements are outside this guide.
GloriaFood announces the end of its service on 30 April 2027. Your paid modules may have a different expiry date. Read our shutdown dates article and check your existing account before planning the switch.
2. Prepare a complete menu copy
Keep a readable copy of your categories, products, descriptions, prices, sizes and extras. Retain photos you are entitled to use and a copy of your opening times.
A product name and price are not enough for a configurable item. Record mandatory choices, the number of allowed selections and the price of each extra. A tacos order, for example, may combine size, meat selections and a paid extra. Check those rules in the new menu.
Keep your old customer and order records in your archives with appropriate access. This process covers the menu and pickup journey; it does not transfer customer accounts or order history into CommandeIci. Ask GloriaFood support which retrieval formats are available for your service.
3. Rebuild the menu in CommandeIci
Create your merchant account, confirm your email address and enter your establishment details. You can then generate a proposed menu from photos or a PDF, or create it manually.
Review the result before publishing: categories, names, prices, descriptions and products. Document analysis helps prepare the menu; your review remains necessary. Configure choices to match your offering, then check opening times and pickup information.
Start with a short menu if you need to learn the workflow. Add more complicated products afterwards. Preparation time depends on your menu size, its choices and the quality of the source documents.
4. Check choices that change the total
Use this checking sheet with your own menu. These are tests to perform, rather than presumed equivalent features across the two tools.
| Test case | What to check |
|---|---|
| Simple product | Correct name, price and category. |
| Size or variant | The displayed choice matches the portion you actually serve. |
| Mandatory option | The customer makes the required choice before adding the product. |
| Paid extra | Correct extra price and basket total. |
| Multiple choices | Allowed selections and combinations match your menu. |
| Opening times | Display and order availability follow your settings. |
| Reception | The team can read the options and total in the dashboard. |
Compare the journey with what your staff actually prepare. Correct an ambiguous combination before sharing the new link.
5. Try the customer journey and order reception
Open the CommandeIci demo to explore the workflow with fictional data. Then arrange a check with your team using your own menu and the receiving device used during service. Identify a test sent through a real menu to the team so it is not mistaken for a sale.
Customers can view the menu without installation or sign-in. Submitting a real order requires a confirmed account. Check that step, basket preservation and the return to the order after confirmation.
Check reception, options, preparation and pickup with payment at the business. The summary and tracking appear on screen; no order email is sent. Involve the person who will use the merchant dashboard during service.
6. Replace links and printed materials
Once the journey is checked, replace the ordering link on your website, social profiles and promotional materials. Retain your own website address where you control its editing; change the link that leads to ordering.
Add the new address to the ordering section of your Google Business Profile and select your preferred link where several are listed. Follow Google’s business-link instructions, then check the public profile.
Scan printed QR codes. Codes pointing directly to GloriaFood need replacing. Codes leading to your own website may remain usable if that page sends customers to the new menu. Check window signs, the counter, menus and packaging, then use CommandeIci’s generated QR codes for new materials.
7. Keep a switch record
Record the change date, updated links and outstanding checks. During the first services, track real orders received, menu corrections and customer questions. This helps distinguish configuration problems from an old link still in circulation.
Plan the end of your old services around their expiry dates and account terms, after retrieving useful records. Do not remove access merely because the new link is ready.
CommandeIci is currently free for everyone until 2027, with no subscription or CommandeIci commission and no payment card required. No future price or automatic charge is announced. Your other business expenses remain separate; read the current offer.
FAQ
Can I directly import my GloriaFood account into CommandeIci?
This guide uses a menu copy, photos, a PDF or manual entry followed by review. It does not connect directly to the GloriaFood account or automatically transfer customers or historical orders.
Do I need new QR codes?
That depends on the encoded address. A code pointing directly to GloriaFood keeps that link and needs replacing. A code leading to your own website may remain useful if you update the ordering link there. Scan each piece of printed material before deciding.
Does CommandeIci replace GloriaFood’s online payment?
The journey described here uses payment at the business with your usual equipment. If online payment is essential, assess that requirement separately before switching tools.
